Technical Trainer - Software

The Technical Trainer will report to the Director of Training and Documentation.

Responsibilities include:

 Train internal technical consultants and customersDelivery of course instructionPosition requires 50% US travelDesign, develop, and maintain course materialsAct as own subject matter expert through learning and using our softwareClassroom preparation, maintenance, and logisticsRepresenting company to customersOther duties as directed

 Critical requirements include:

 B.S. or equivalent3 years minimum experience in software training: delivery and development.  We will also consider computer science grads. or similar who have some teaching experience.A proven track record that includes platform instruction, technical course development, and proficiency in at least one software language (C, C+, Java, or Javascript)Experience in Windows OSExperience with Linux/UNIX operating systems a plusExperience in multiple programming languages, networks and database design is a plusDemonstration of excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong writing skills, will write training materials and workshopsMust travel and have strong customer relations experienceExperience as a Business Analyst is a plus
