Title: Technical Web Project Manager #64627Location: San Francisco, CA and San Rafael, CARole/Purpose: The Autodesk Web Team is seeking a Web Project Manager. The position will be based in the San Francisco office. This role requires 5 to 7 years experience in medium- to large-scale web site and web technology delivery, scheduling and task management. Responsibilities include managing projects from initiation through delivery, project control and status reporting, related troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure completion of assigned projects on schedule. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and maintains project plans and schedules. Consults with web project team to plan, estimate, and control tasks within complex project plans. Develops plans to mitigate risk. Identifies and recommends alternative solutions as appropriate. Understands the roles of web disciplines such as user interaction, design, content, development and production and successfully manages each to execute projects. Schedules and documents decision making of project meetings. Monitors project to ensure completion within defined schedule, budget (if applicable), and quality parameters. Effectively communicates with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with web team services and product delivery. Consistently communicates throughout project lifecycle. Works proactively with stakeholders and project team to identify and resolve issues. Develops and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, web team and management. Manages stakeholder expectations; controls project scope. Maintains enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances. Ensures every team member is on board and moving in the right direction. Skilled in dealing with a range of customer needs, priorities and personalities.
