Projects include providing professional quality user manuals, RFP/RFI responses and providing editorial and document management services throughout the company to increase productivity and maintain the quality of documents required to carry out business.  This is a highly visible position since its output is both client-facing and reaches all levels internally.  Responsibilities include: Manages documentation projects of medium to high complexity with minimal to no supervision. This includes formatting and review of proposal responses, presentations, quotes, etc. Researches, develops, and writes user manuals and supporting material for products, services, and specific client implementations Interviews subject matter experts, reads requirements documents and exercises applications in order to understand end user documentation requirements.Required SkillsQualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree and some related experience in technical writing, formatting, editing and proofreading.  To be successful, the Technical Writer must have the capability of understanding software concepts and client/server technology. Additionally, qualified candidates will have good communication skills, be organized, thorough, and have a sense of urgency.
