Technical Writer - Document Specialist

Location: Bethesda, MD

Rate: Competitive

Our client, the National Library of Medicine within the National Institutes of Health is currently seeking an Administrative and Scientific Technical Writer to work in the Washington, D.C. area.

 

The successful candidate will have:Experience with T42 documents and quadrennial reviews. Experience in a governmentally regulated setting.Experience preparing and formatting memos.Experience in writing Position Descriptions, Performance Plans and HR actions.Superlative editing and writing skills.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Experience with government travel.

 

 

Additional requested experience includes:More than three years of Technical Writing experience including the creation of user manuals, documenting systems and/or programs.Solid interpersonal and collaborative practices.  Must work with Subject Matter experts, peers and various groups in an effort to obtain and document information.Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools including: Word, Excel and Outlook.
