Technology Sales!!! - Inside Sales Specialist

Gomez, Inc., the leading provider of Web Application Experience Management solutions, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist responsible for developing new opportunities and acquiring new customers to build upon the ever growing list of Gomez clients.

 

Job Description:

 

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist is expected to prospect and develop new customer leads, introduce the Gomez service, and close the deal. This is a direct sales position with the vast majority of business being conducted via phone and internet communication. The Inside Sales Specialist will be expected to call into various groups within a prospective customer, in particular the IT group and the business line, and understand the needs of each.

 

Job Responsibilities: Prospect new accounts and build relationships with potential customers using phone and internet communications. Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow revenue. Use analytical skills to understand the customer, their business and technology issues and needs. Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a rapidly growing sale and support organization. Fast learner and at ease with technology.

 

Job Requirements: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of business to business sales experience, preferably in a high tech environment and/or Internet technology environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate with potential customer, explain complex products and services over the phone. Proven track record of success in creating and managing a robust pipeline of potential new customer base and territory. Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented. Some knowledge of Internet architecture, technology, and/or infrastructure. Experience with MS Office products and Salesforce.com a plus. Exceeding monthly quota objectives through outbound sales activities.
