Testing Engineer

This position will be responsible for supporting a subset of the 80 environments used for new functionality, Sustainment (production), and regression testing.  The person in this position must be able to insure proper environment configuration and troubleshoot issues associated with testing.  The person must have an understanding of the Amdocs testing methodology and the Telegence application and application architectureResponsibilities: Work with client and Amdocs teams to deliver testing solutions Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction   Be part of a team of several testing engineers, participate and contribute in internal design review of testing materials; checking the test environment; executing, tracking and reporting on the test execution; analyzing the results and communicating status with the clientRequirements: Past experience as Testing Engineer is a must In-depth knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, OMS, Enabler AMSS, TLG, or Clarify CRM, Invoicing) 2-3 years UNIX experience required Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control knowledge (Source Safe principles); S/W architecture for web based and non-web based applications (Client side, Tuxedo and Server side), knowledge of automated tools etc. 2-3 years demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing solutionsfor Telecom Billing and CRM solutions· Strong analytical skills.· Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently· Must be flexible to travel· One of the following academic backgrounds: o  B.A. in Computer Science o  Engineer o  B.A. in any exact Science (with the following certification: ISEB o  Excellent communication skills and fluent in EnglishModerate Travel Required
