Tremendous Mississippi-based institution is urgently attempting to hire a Programmer skilled in developing applications in Perl on a UNIX platform.  We are looking for a Programmer who has either developed in Perl or C/C++ who wants to take ownership of major applications.  The primary responsibilities of this position will be to modify, support, and enhance our client's Lawson ERP system as well as other applications.  We need someone who can program in C or Perl languages but wants to learn how to translate those skills to supporting Lawson, which runs primarily on a UNIX platform.  If you don't already know Perl, but do know C/C++, our client will train you not only on the Lawson system, but Perl as well.  The key to earning this position is the ability to program on a UNIX platform, so if you have 3 years of experience programming in either Perl or C/C++ on UNIX, and want to learn how to maintain the Lawson ERP system, this could be the job for you.
