Our client is a 20+ year Trading firm based in Chicago and has the following need:

Application Developer with 2+ years of application development using object oriented design, and object oriented languages, C++ /STL with ideally GTK and GNU.
Must be able to independently complete an entire project,
including design, implementation, and testing.

Familiarity/experience with as many of the following is a requirement:

Sybase or other relation database packages
Writing event driven systems
developing socket based applications in a Unix environment.
Communication protocols
Electronic Trading Interfaces
FIX based Interfaces
Financial trading middle ware (TIBCO,etc.)
Data feed Interfaces (Reuters, Comstock, Bloomberg, etc.)
