VB.NET Developer Needed - Contract to Hire Opportunity

Our Hartford area client has an immediate need for a Developer with at least 2 years experience developing desktop applications in the .NET environment using VB.NET.  Qualified candidate will have demonstrated familiarity with the principles of System Development Lifecycle and in defining business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.  To be considered for this contract to hire opportunity candidates must possess 5 years experience developing applications in an IT environment with an understanding of relational databases, networking, and personal computers, preferably within a managed care environment.

 

Additional requirementsStrong MS SQL development experience requiredAbility to design database objects, code routines in stored procedures and write proficient SQL queries to manipulate data for applications and reportingAt least 5 years hands-on experience with SQL Server, MTS, and Visual BasicExpert knowledge of Internet architecture and security (Internet protocols, Firewalls)
