VB6 Programmer

Do you have at least 3+ years VB6 programming experience? Do you also have experience with Pervasive SQL-based data access methods?  If so please read on to see if you are a good fit.

What you will be doing:

~ Developing and testing and deployment of end user applications using VB6, Pervasive SQL, Palm and Windows-based hand held devices.

~ Tier two end user support for hundreds of external customers.

What you must have:

~ 3+ years of general VB6 applications coding and development experience is required. Object-oriented programming experience preferred.

~ At least 1 year experience working with Pervasive SQL is required.

~ The ability to maintain existing legacy code and develop new code on the existing applications.

~ The ability to self-motivate and work with limited day-to-day management and direction.

~ Proven outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

~ Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.

~ Experience with Office tools such as Power Point, Excel, and Word, Outlook.
