Job Description:

 

Mentor Graphics is seeking a highly motivated technologist with the capability and desire to make significant contributions to the success of our Scalable Verification platform at our largest customers. As a Verification Product Specialist you will work collaboratively with account teams to entrench and expand tool deployments by delivering advanced technical support worldwide and assisting the customer in adoption of software releases and new tools and technologies. You will provide technical leadership by influencing R&D to meet our customer's immediate needs, by driving future customer requirements with the product line, and by educating the customer support organization on evolving customer flows and methodologies. Travel requirement is 25-50%.

Requirements:Experience with HDL-based, register-transfer-level (RTL), digital logic design, verification languages, and functional verification methodology, for ASICs and/or FPGAs. This experience should include some or all of the following: VHDL and/or Verilog HDL simulation, testbench architecture and design, SystemVerilog, Specman/e, Vera and/or PSL and Assertion-Based Verification techniques.Experience in constrained, random directed testing, formal verification and simulation acceleration/emulation is also desirable. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills . Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with our customers. Experience with any of Support, Sales, Marketing is desired. Minimum five years of design (or equivalent technical sales/marketing) experience and BSEE is required, MSEE is desired.
