WEB DESIGNER

 

·         Web Designer

Reports to:

·         Executive Director of Technology

Scope:

·         This candidate will be responsible for the design, construction, and optimization of all branded websites.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Create design prototypes; includes working closely with management to understand project expectations and guide decision makers through each step of site construction

·         Construct html; includes development of all page templates and front end html

·         Optimize website; leading efforts in multivariate A/B testing and search engine optimization

Requirements:

·         Strong communication skills, effective interaction with management is a must

·         Advanced skills in digital imaging and illustration using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

·         Proficient in working with and developing Javascript, CSS, and HTML

·         Experienced in cross-browser compatibility (IE, Fire Fox, Safari)

·         Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques

·         Ability to work in a team environment bringing enthusiasm for sharing ideas and problem-solving

·         Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, graphic design or digital media a plus.
