RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Web Developers will be focused on writing templates, scripts, and other processes that produce content for the Internet Technologies web sites.

Web Developers have a very solid knowledge of the various web technologies used to produce content. Web Developers leverage this knowledge to ensure that code is written according to industry best practices. Web Developers give direction to Web Operations in regards to web development standards and practices.

Web Developers participate in workflow design and analyze existing production and implementation processes in order to ensure the overall quality of the site. Primary activities include maintenance and support of existing templates and content production processes. Work as a project team member to develop Internet and Intranet Web applications. Contribute to task identification, work effort estimates, and schedules for development and maintenance activities.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience with Client side web development, XML, XSLT, XPATH, JSP.

All content mgmt, front-end web application developers
HTML
CSS
Javascript
XML – XSLT’s, parcing
Java & Jsp (not programmers)
Shell scripting – big bonus
WAP, WHTML
Self starter, Strong Documentation and requirements gathering.
XML feeds – maintain host of CGI tools

Required Skills:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2 years experience developing websites for business purposes on UNIX and NT.
· 2 years experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML
· Thorough knowledge of XML and XML parsing APIs (XSLT, xpath, DOM).
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Experience building dynamic web applications using Java Server Pages.
· Experience with object oriented design.

DESIRED SKILLS:
CGI Development using Perl
Oracle or other relational database
