Your primary mission as a Conference Specialist will be to serve as the dedicated point-of-contact in support of all conference-related activities and to manage all administrative functions related to conferences in our Dr. Dobb's Events group. Call upon your superior organizational skills as you create, maintain, and update the conference master schedule for up to 200+ sessions per event, facilitate our speaker recruitment process, and manage our volunteer program. This will also require excellent customer service and people skills, both on the phone and in person at each event. Your mastery of the written language will allow you to efficiently proofread and edit speaker bios, Web site content, conference program copy, and email blasts. Your passion for your job will come from your experience in or knowledge of the software development industry.
