We are seeking an Embedded Linux C++ OOP Application Developer for a 6-9 months in Santa Clara, CA
We are seeking an Embedded Linux C++ OOP Application Developer for a 6-9 month contract in Santa Clara, CA.
The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of development experience, previously up to technical lead position, and strong C++/Linux/Networking/Telecom development experience in the application/protocol functional areas. The candidate should have full cycle development experience, not just sustaining (bug fixes) or incremental implementation experience. Ideally, the candidate should have LOCAL working experience in one of the major telecom/network equipment vendors, and should have MS/CS degree.
Requirements:
o Experience with SNMP specific MIBs
o Experience in broadband access communication systems (preferably point-to-multipoint - cable DOCSIS, wireless, optical - PON)
o Experience with DHCP/ARP/IP and DHCPv6/ND/IPv6 protocol
o Equipment/sensor management, entity MIB
Optional requirements:
o C++ and Object Oriented design
o Experience with packet classification, filtering and ACLs
o Experience with Quality of Service.
o Experience with Ethernet VLAN and Layer 2 VPNs, MEF standards
o Experience with SNMPv3 specific MIBs
o Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 multicast - IGMPv3/MLDv2
o Experience with VoIP telephony
