Web Content Coordinator

Develop and edit content for division websites totaling over 1000 pages.

*Develop and implement a structured methodology for periodically reviewing all website content to identify maintenance needs.

*Work with an internal website audience which includes 130 biology and public heath faculty, over 2000 clinical faculty, 500 medical and graduate students, and 500 staff.

*Work with an external website audience which includes prospective students, postdocs, and faculty members from around the world. Total visits are estimated at 3.2 million per year.

*Play lead role in developing new web content for core research facilities used by researchers throughout the state of Rhode Island.  Qualifications: Required:  Strong written communication skills.  Familiarity with writing material for websites.  Minimum of some graduate level work or a BS plus industrial experience in the life sciences.  Familiarity with working with databases & an interest in Biology.  Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.  Desirable:  Website design and development experience, experience with life sciences facility management.  To apply, please visit us online at http://careers.brown.edu referencing Job#M02007.  Brown University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
