Web Developer/Administrator

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:  Manage client/vendor relationships as required to obtain new business and ensure existing client expectations are met/exceeded Participate in the definition of business requirements and solution development requirements Participate in the estimating/quoting process Oversee/direct projects, manage projects as needed Occasionally develop solutions as required to meet current market/client needs.

 

DETAILED POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Activities in this position will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with both internal team members and customers, proficiency in identifying and documenting business requirements, creating and implementing solutions, visiting clients/prospects and being a “customer liaison”, marketing Krengel Technology’s products and services, and the ability to always look for collaborative and creative ways to obtain the best avenue of excellence. 

 

There will be ample opportunity for refining skill sets in the areas of Business Requirements Analysis, Communications & Strategic marketing planning, Project Management a thorough understanding of xhtml and css is required application development experience in the following is desired: ASP.NET, Java, ColdFusion, Perl, PHP, Ruby on Rails, RPG, Mootle basic database administration experience with one or more of the following is desired: MSSQL Server, MySQL, Postgres experience with IIS or Apache administration is a plus, System Administration duties as assigned experience with DotNetNuke or other portal/cms applications is a plus you should feel comfortable adapting to new technologies and programming languages that you may not have used before

 

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

College degree

Excellent communications skills.

Minimum 4 years web development/internet marketing experience.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
