Web Developer - Cigars International

This role reports to the Information Technology Manager.  Candidate will be required to, either alone or as part of a team, design, build, modify and manage multiple transactional e-commerce web sites and intranet applications.

Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
• Application development
• New content / functionalities for improved performance and customer interaction
• Site maintenance and monitoring
• Provide on-going technical support for multiple e-commerce sites
• Provide detailed documentation resulting from the work performed

 

Requirements
• Understand core technologies, tools, infrastructure methodology, and development techniques • Knowledge and understanding of Relational databases, experience with SQL Server 2000
• Expert in SQL syntax and usage, knowledge of SQL Server stored procedures
• Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• Solid understanding of ASP, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, XML, Java Script, experience with ActionScript and/or Flex Builder is a plus
• Familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a team/cross functional environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Careful attention to detail and be well organized are a must.
