Web Developer / Web Designer / Web Site Programmer

WWWebTek, Inc. is a well established web site development firm with a national client base. We have been providing Internet Solutions for over 13 years.We are looking for a web site developer to work part time or per diem, who has the following skill set:

  Minimum of three (3) years professional web design experience Strong knowledge of User Interface Design, best practices for the web Strong understanding of site functionality, site architecture, data flow, and intuitive navigation schemes Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS Strong graphic design skills using Photoshop/Illustrator (MAC based preferred) Understanding of Flash is a plus PHP/MySQL Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, or Fine Arts is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of standards-based coding, browser compatibility issues, and web constraints

 

While having experience in Dreamweaver/Frontpage is fine, please note that we are looking for someone capable of hand coding (rather than using WYSIWYG programs). Also, the person hired will need to be fairly local, and may work from home and periodically in our office. There will be some training in our office to review our specific technical needs. Candidate must have their own hardware and software capable of working from home.
