Web Developer for Leader in Retail Solutions

We are searching for a dedicated Web Developer to join the growing professional services team at MICROS-Retail.  In this exciting position, you will be able to work closely with clients, designers, and senior members of the services team to understand a client’s business and technical requirements.  You will then develop and implement web page designs, content, CSS, XHTML and images using multiples tools and applications.  This is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to learn and interface with clients.

 

Responsibilities:Create stable HTML, CSS and Javascript code for client implementations of eOneCommerce.Create and maintain data necessary to render and drive dynamic site behavior using SQL and database maintenance skills.Serve as an advisor to clients and other team members on client-side code and best practices.Be an effective communicator and team player to project leaders, customers and development team.

 

Skills and Experienced Required:Fluency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required.Knowledge of interactive languages and technologies including Java, ActiveX, Shockwave, Director and Shell scripting is desired.Knowledge of networking and internet concepts is required, as well as expertise in the operating systems of Windows and Linux, and basic knowledge of Apache HTTP server and Tomcat Application server. Basic relational database knowledge, as well as multimedia development tools, applications and production process is desired. Excellent oral and written communications, project management and organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to work as a team player are required.
