We’re looking for someone to join our editorial team to edit, write, produce, and manage select content areas (channels) within the Experience.com universe. This is an opportunity to contribute to the largest career search site for college educated students and alumni yet be part of a small entrepreneurial team that works hard, is curious about the world and is passionate about helping people with their careers.

 

Responsibilities:Some of the things we’ll expect you to do:Act as editor (to include writing, editing, idea generation, article selection, and providing guidance for contributing content partners)Recruit and manage student channel editors to ensure relevant, high quality content is added to the Experience.com site on a weekly basisWork cross-functionally with multiple departments to publish content on the siteProduce e-newslettersContribute ideas and help develop sponsored content opportunitiesFind new ways to increase the visibility of our content Ensure that all content is consistent with Experience editorial strategy and is aligned with the vision and values of the companyContribute to blogs, help produce videos, and other new media.Be comfortable with production technologies and software.

 Qualifications:

We’re looking for a creative, engaged editor with experience writing/editing for consumer audiences in a journalistic environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be an enthusiastic and talented writer with great editorial instincts for what "makes" informative and entertaining content.

Must have the following: BA/BS degreeA persistent curiosity and interest in careers and the work worldExcellent oral and written communications skills1-2 years work experience preferredSelf-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environmentSuccess in collaborative, team-oriented work environmentAll candidates will be asked to provide writing samples
