Job Description

 

A Web Metrics Analyst will create and interpret web statistics in order to identify trends, support business analysis efforts, and provide information to support search marketing campaigns.  Must be able to demonstrate a solid background in data analysis and reporting, analysis of website activity, and the ability to analyze multiple data sources and identify inconsistencies.

 

Key responsibilities may include:


• Use of WebTrends tool to measure & analyze website traffic and audience.  Prepare reports that highlight key metrics & trends.
• Leverage data to provide unbiased input to decisions regarding potential site improvements for user experience.
• Develop and evolve best practices for analyzing user behavior and determine most effective approaches for driving the best user experience.
• Participate in project requirements & design meetings to ensure accurate web metrics can be acquired.
• Conduct ad-hoc traffic analysis of key areas of the site.
• Develop and evolve monthly web analytical reports.
• Create key performance metrics and analytics dashboards with input from stakeholders; analyze and report on a monthly basis.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum of 2 years experience with the following tools and technologies:

 

• WebTrends
• Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• HTML and JavaScript
