We are looking for Sr. Websphere portal and Agile consultants for our direct client in Pleasanton.
There are 3 different positions available.
Web Architect - Content Management Expert
Duration: 9 months
Project: Kaiser Foundation Hospitals is seeking staffing augmentation to design, develop, test, implement and deploy the functionality required from Enterprise Portal Framework (EPF) Release 2. EPF Release 1.0 was implemented and went live on Dec 26, 2006 with myHR self service functionality, rolled out to NCAL, NW and Texas employees, approx 70,000 users. Staff augmentation for Release 2.1 that will address only the framework capabilities and capacity enhancements to meet the needs of upcoming tenants
NAI followed by Communications and KPIT. Release 2.2, that will address the NAI specific business requirements and intake activities, has been excluded from the scope of this release. The scope of this release primarily includes architectural framework and capability enhancements.
Job Description:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems,or related field
5+ years experience in a technical role involving product evaluation, implementation, deployment, systems design and/or software development
5+ years experience with metadata, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and classification schema
5+ years experience with content management systems, particularly with organizing and tagging content against a specific taxonomy -Specifically interwoven Teamsite
Three to five years' experience with client/server Web technologies and content management systems
Advanced knowledge of system design methodologies, data formats,data-manipulation techniques, database schemas and design principles
Significant Experience working with Interwoven Teamsite, HTML, XML, XSLT, DTDs, Javascript, DOM, Java, JSP.
Experience working with graphic types, audio objects, swfs and their inclusion into Web documents
Experience working with website designs
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
Experience with Software Development Methodologies, specifically AGILE SCRUM
Responsibilities
Provide technical direction to enterprise content initiatives
Assist in the development of new taxonomy structures and controlled vocabularies, ensuring they meet general taxonomy guidelines
Implement and oversee taxonomy governance processes
Create and maintain processes to synchronize systems to support content workflow and publishing of content to various Web properties
Support the seamless integration of the content management system with other disparate systems
Research and identify or develop new products, platforms, tools,and processes to enhance current services or to deliver new services
Provide support to users, including resolution of conflicts between business areas
Tracking and resolving taxonomy management issues
Coordinate with publishers to organize website materials per assigned unit needs; identifies those to have security access, necessary programming needs, and those responsible for various aspects of web creation, maintenance, etc. Assigns access rightsto web content to restrict access to specific users.
Coordinate and facilitate the publishing activities regarding design, creation, and production of the web site.
Organizes and maintains the content infrastructure of a web site.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Websphere Portal Project Manager
Duration: 9 months

The Project Manager will enable successful project delivery through disciplined KP-IT project management processes and close collaboration with the business partners, the project realization team and the various IT functions. The Project Manager will be required to know or learn KP-IT's project and process methodology and to execute it within the established KP and KP-IT organizational framework and oversight processes. PMP Certification highly desired. The Project Manager must have deep knowledge and experience of the AGILE development methodology, specifically AGILE SCRUM.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience managing implementation of large-scale, complex, multi-disciplined, cross functional and highly visible projects/programs, with budgets in excess of $2 million and team over 15 people. Demonstrable experience in multi-disciplinary leadership, strong customer focus and excellent people skills. Must be experienced in Project Management Methodologies/PMP preferred. Experienced in client relationship management and Portal Projects base on IBM Webshere and CMS systems such as Interwoven Teamsite is strongly desired.. The Project Manager will be required to know or learn KP-IT's methodologies, and to execute within the established KP and KP-IT organizational framework and oversight processes.

Chief Architect
Duration: 9 months

We are looking for an experienced Chief IBM Websphere Architect to lead the system design and architectures of our enterprise systems/software.
Duties
Technical leadership role in the system design and architectures of our Enterprise software, specifically the KP Enterprise Portal and integrations with IBM WebShere, IBM WCM, and Interwoven Teamsite
Lead project implementation
Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming languages and techniques and computing technologies.
The candidate for the position must have a proven track record meeting the following criteria:
12 to 20 years of experience in a technical role.
5 years of experience in a software architect role
5+ years of experience with object oriented design.
Experience with Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Outstanding knowledge of Websphere Portal, Interwoven Teamsite, and other web technologies.
Experience with configuration management systems.
BS or MS in Computer science is preferred
Proven enterprise experience across business, information, application, and technology architectural competencies (i.e. - all relevant technologies & business processes necessary for analyzing, designing, and developing highly complex IT solutions)
Demonstrated acumen aligning architecture with two (or more) major business strategies, goals and processes as part of projects.
Ability to work with the business to understand business strategies and requirements, and translate into solution architectures that exceed business needs
Exceptional knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology, specifically the AGILE development methodology, specifically AGILE SCRUM
Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
Proven ability to read and understand business cases, use cases
Strong conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills enabling comprehension and development of complex technical and business issues, topics, and plans
Proven ability to read, interpret and develop highly complex domain models, technical specifications, diagrams and MSSQL database schemas
Demonstrated ability to design solutions that are scalable, extensible and have robust architecture.
Proven skills and knowledge in OS and platform and emerging technologies latent, current, emerging programming languages and server technologies.
