Position Description:
Programmer/Analyst - Windows Client Developer --Gather requirements for new custom Windows tools or technologies to improve deployment and maintenance of the Windows platform. --Develop custom tools and utilities in Visual Basic using system APIs for Windows. --Package and integrate software to be distributed to the Windows client through software delivery transports like SMS. --Provide 3rd level technical support for Windows Operating system and custom tools. --Maintain windows client with Group Policies and Patching. --Maintain documentation for Windows client and custom tools. --Participate in the annual security review process

Skills Required:
--Windows XP --Windows Vista --Visual Basic (.NET, Win32, COM, WMI) --InstallShield or WISE Package Studio --Microsoft SMS for patch management --Group Policy

Skills Preferred:
--C/C++ (Native, MFC, ATL, STL)

Experience Required:
--IT experience supporting large enterprise (25K+ clients) --Gathered requirements and developed of applications for large enterprise --Administered Microsoft¿s Windows operating systems (XP, Vista) and systems configuration and management technologies (i.e. Group Policy, SMS) in a large enterprise --5+ years designing and developing applications with Visual Basic. --5+ years packaging software (InstallShield/WISE) and deploying software (SMS) in large enterprise --Project management

Experience Preferred:
--Client IT experience.

Education Required:
--Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional IT experience.

--Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer --Microsoft Certified Solution Developer --Microsoft Certified Professional
