Title: Worldwide Sales Readiness Manager, Civil Solutions - #64454 Location: San Rafael, CA Role & Purpose The channel readiness manager is a key position for driving profitable growth in the Civil sector by ensuring that Autodesk channel partners are able to position and sell Autodesk Civil Solutions. He/She is part of a global team that leverages both internal and external resources and is responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting the status of multiple sales channel training projects from initiation through final delivery, including budgeting, project control and status reporting. The channel readiness manager participates in the content development effort and coordinates quality control reviews to ensure high quality results. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Define and manage master plan for channel training. Develop and manage roadmaps, schedules, training launch plans, event specs and track projects associated with new product releases. Coordinate activities with local sales execution teams in the Americas, EMIA and APAC for sales training. Ensure consistency across Geos. Coordinate activities with local channel teams to insure delivery of professional sales skills courses such as TAS, SSN, etc. Develop training content Gather stakeholder input from Division, Channel, Sales Execution and Sales organization to synthesize Learning Requirements and Learning Brief documents that define specific training content to be developed. Get participation from stakeholders to participate in content development Make recommendations on when and where training should be outsourced. Participate in content development and delivery of Instructor Led, e Learning, webcast and printed training materials Identify appropriate instructors for delivery Develop training infrastructure Review and Maintain Civil content for the Partner Learning Portal Propose systems and methodologies to measure channel readiness Coordinate activities for the WW Channel Readiness Team Promote and represent WW Channel Readiness Ensure global content is communicated to all local teams Gather and communicate local requirements to WW Channel Readiness Team. Identify and share local best practices for channel training. Requirements: Min 7+ years experience in selling Civil software solutions Strong Civil Engineering industry experience Experience in the design, development and delivery of training content Excellent public speaking skills Knowledge of Autodesk products and the Reseller/Channel business models. Excellent project management and follow-through skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Pan-geography business experiences a plus. Flexible approach to people, projects, and assignments. Ability to work with varied personalities and work styles. Ability to work independently and successfully with remote individuals, teams, and consultants. Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Skilled in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
