Job Description Job Posting Title IRC1027496   Job Title Software Developer 4   Organization Name Security Infrastructure/Security and Identity Management Products/Fusion Middleware   Department Description       The Security Infrastructure group within Security and Identity Management Products/Fusion Middleware division is chartered with providing security framework and foundations for Oracle and defining security direction for various Oracle Products. We provide the Web Services Security, XML security, Audit Framework, cryptographic, and PKI toolkits and products that can be easily integrated, managed, and used by various ORACLE products and end-users. We are chartered with driving the XML security direction of the company.We enable oracle product to use Web Services Security, XML Security, Audit framework, secure authentication, Signatures and encryption/network security services.  Oracle products that use these technologies are Oracle database, Application Server, OC4J, Collaboration Suite, Fusion Applications, etc.   Brief Posting Description       Responsible for architecture, design, implementation of new innovations in XML (XML Digital Signature, XML Encryption, SAML, etc) and Web Services Security. One of the key projects is to convert Oracle XML Security stack from DOM based parser to performant and scalable SAX/StAX based parsor. This includes not only XML Security/Web Services toolkits, but the higher level products like Oracle Web Services Manager, Oracle SOA suite, etc   Detailed Description       As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.    Job Specifications       Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Preferred Qualifications: BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.   Additional Details       Have a BS/MS degree in CS or EE, Knowledge of C or Java programming.
