e-Commerce/Web Developer

netCentrix, LLC Web Developer Position

 

netCentrix, LLC is an enterprise-level e-commerce hosting and development firm specializing in Ecometry-backed web stores. 

 

We are currently seeking a mid-career programmer to become an integral part of our programming team in our Stratford, CT office.

 

Qualifications:

The open position requires the following:

-         2-5 years experience in classic ASP/SQL programming at the corporate level within a multiple tiered environment (dev -> stage -> production)

-         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-         Comfortable with heavy client interaction/conference calls

-         Customer service driven

-         Organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple clients at the same time

-         Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment  to meet set deadlines

 

Required Skill Set:

-         Text editor/ hand coder (edit plus, notepad++, etc)

-         Advanced to Expert Classic ASP

-         Moderate to Advanced SQL Server 2000/ADO including advanced queries, joins, stored procedures, DTS, etc

-         Expert in (x)html

-         Moderate to Advanced CSS

-         Moderate to Advanced JavaScript

-         Working knowledge of XML

-         Working knowledge of the DOM

-         Knowledge of quirks on variety of PC and MAC browsers

-         Knowledge of Office/FTP/etc business tools

-         Basic Photoshop skills (cropping, re-sizing, etc; no graphic design necessary)

 

Non-required, but a huge plus:

-         Ecometry COM or XML

-         AJAX

-         .Net (C#)

-         PHP5

-         MySql5

-         IIS/Windows Server 2003 knowledge

-         Regular expressions

-         rewrite conditionals / htaccess

-         Knowledge of PCI and data security/sql injection prevention

-         Grasp of On-page and On-site SEO

-         Experience with marketing tools and loggers, such as Google Analytics, Omniture, etc
