eCommerce Project Manager

 

We are currently seeking an eCommerce Project Manager for our Herndon, VA Corporate office. We are looking for someone that can thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.  This position will be full time.

 

Responsibilities:

 Manage bi-weekly maintenance releases (consisting of product, pricing, promotional changes, etc.) for RCN’s corporate eCommerce system. 

 Lead cross-functional team of developers, designers, testers, and business managers, through all aspects of project lifecycle including identifying requirements, prioritization, design and development, testing, and execution.

 

· Develop and maintain key project deliverables (project plans, requirements documentation, and status reports) and effectively communicate progress to key stakeholders.

 Execute annual web strategies focused on increasing the conversion rate related to RCN ecommerce and explore new methods of increasing revenue via ecommerce.Ensure the consistency of the eCommerce sales channel with marketing campaigns related to other channels.

 

Requirements:4-6 years of project management experience with focus on eCommerce and/or web-based projects

 Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.

 Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in the development and execution of high-profile web projects.

 Ability to motivate staff in a positive, respectful manner and communicate clearly to foster effective teamwork.

 Strong problem solving ability within a high-pressure environment, demonstrating solutions-oriented behavior.

 Must be fluent in creating project plans and documentation (MS Project and Visio) and managing to them

 Experience with bug tracking tools such as Test Director or comparable a plus.

 

· Familiarity with web traffic reporting applications such as Omniture or Web Trends a plus.

 

· Experience in the Cable, ISP, and or Telcom Industry a plus.
