Email marketing and proactive contact management are key components of Sybase’s overall integrated online marketing strategy. As a member of the corporate online marketing team, this position is responsible for managing execution of key marketing initiatives that have a visible, immediate impact on generating demand and awareness for Sybase products and services. This position plans, manages, executes and report results of multi-touch, integrated campaigns and programs. This role is also responsible to maintain a high-level view of emarketing campaign activity and results across marketing teams and regions. The successful candidate will have a history of evaluating, revising, and establishing online programs based on analysis of response metrics and business goals.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

•Manage corporate emarketing campaigns to meet/exceed objectives
•Report on cross-divisional emarketing campaign performance and recommend improvements
•Develop flexible contact segments that map to business strategy to maximize relevance and targeting capabilities
•Promote internal awareness of successful campaigns and tactics
•Optimize corporate emarketing assets for effectiveness to be shared with other marketing teams
•Optimize program budget utilization and resource efficiencies to meet/exceed campaign objectives

Qualifications:

•At least 3-5 years’ expertise with emarketing program management
•Experience in applications and services related to email marketing and CRM a plus (e.g., Eloqua, Oracle/PeopleSoft CRM, Siebel, Unica, e.Piphany, Aprimo or other Campaign Management tools)
•Expertise with disciplined project management. Well organized with strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to assess and identify process and performance gaps and then develop and implement plan to close them.
•Experience managing within a highly matrixed organization. Ability to network effectively across organizations and reinforce behaviors that improve teamwork and business results
•Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously and deliver high-caliber results on time.
•Bachelors degree required 
•MBA a plus
