The IT On-Demand Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a complex Salesforce.com implementation used by all of the company’s key business units and end-users. Daily activities will also include resolving technical and functional support issues, driving new opportunities for functionality, managing data loads and data quality and training other IT Support personnel and end-users on new features and functionality. In addition to acting as System Administrator and Support Analyst for the Salesforce.com application, the successful candidate will work with the IT On-Demand Application Support team to support and maintain other SaaS solutions in the IT software portfolio. There are several full-time positions available, from entry-level to senior support analyst, located at our corporate offices in San Francisco, California, or Dublin, Ireland. Responsibilities: * Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of a large implementation of salesforce.com including managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layouts, and installation and support of app exchange applications. * Manage a fast-paced queue of support requests, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution. * Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance will all written policies and Sarbanes-Oxley user and change management controls. * Represent the IT App Support team in project meetings for new applications and solutions, communicate support requirements * Assist in the configuration and maintenance of “sandbox” environments to facilitate success development and QA testing of new on-demand features and functionality * Assist in Release Management tasks required to promote tested functionality from sandbox into a production environment Required Skills/Experience: * 1-4 years experience in Web Application or IT Support with proven ability to support customers with diverse requirements * Previous Salesforce.com administration experience for minimum 100-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, case management and platform maintenance highly desirable * Demonstrated technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, client-server and/or web-based applications and SaaS solutions * Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups. * Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into application functionality * Must be a go-getter and salesforce.com enthusiast who thrives on working in fast-paced environment * Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus. * Excellent written and verbal communication * BA/BS Degree Desired Skills: * Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce.com platform and services including SFA, Case Management, Partner Management, Force.com, Marketing, Service & Support, Visual Force and/or AppExchange * Experience in CRM or a related industry * Familiarity with Change and Release Management processes a * Experience supporting or developing SQL, XML and/or Java * Experience with enterprise integration tools such and APIs Employees at salesforce.com consider their experience as defining points in their careers.
