The salesforce.com IT Application Development team is seeking talented and experienced Oracle BPEL integration developers to develop and enhance our leading-edge back-office integrations that support various mission-critical business processes. You must have a solid background in JAVA programming and an excellent understanding of Oracle BPEL Process Manager, BAM, Web Services, SOAP-XML, XSLT, XPath, WSDL, SQL, PL/SQL and JavaScript. You will be responsible for architecting and developing through all phases of the back-office development lifecycle. You will use your Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experience to work with team members to develop new back-office integrations, as well as enhance existing infrastructure and framework. You should have a history of building complex and successful integration solutions using Oracle’s SOA suite and specifically the Oracle BPEL Process Manager. To be successful at this position, you must posses the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technologies and integrate them quickly while working in a fast paced, team-driven environment. This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio. Responsibilities: Required Skills/Experience: * 7+ years of experience with enterprise integration programming in JAVA * 4+ years of experience with Oracle BPEL Process Manager or equivalent * 5+ years of experience with in SQL * 5+ years of experience programming in PL/SQL * Expert knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite * Expert knowledge with Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) * Expert knowledge of using Web Services * Expert knowledge of WSDL * Expert knowledge of SOAP-XML * Expert knowledge of XPath * Expert knowledge of JavaScript * Expert knowledge of database concepts and data modeling capabilities. * Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Desired Skills: * Experience working with major CRM and ERP applications. * Experience programming with salesforce.com’s Web Services & API framework * Experience programming with salesforce.com’s Apex Code * Experience developing and designing efficient SQL queries * Experience with Java performance tuning & management * Understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts * Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment * Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast pace environment Employees at salesforce.com consider their experience as defining points in their careers.
