Description: As a member of the development team - design, develop, test and debug computer software applications, including building highly scalable web applications using Java and Oracle technologies. This candidate will be part of a team designing and developing a centralized Advanced Development Methods productivity tools suite that allows the Salesforce.com Technology group to collaborate on relevant work internally and externally in a highly effective manner. The integrated suite will track and manage the software development process, defects and release metrics. Responsibilities: Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements Architect, design, implement and tune robust features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment Build new software functionality and resolve technical issues of existing software using Java and SQL. Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience Strong object oriented design skills 3+ years software development experience in Java Experience with SQL and relational database programming Experience building highly scalable systems or applications Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. Ability to work in a distributed development (multi-site) environment.
