As a member of the SalesForce.com IT team, the candidate is the focal point for delivering technology solutions to our business partners. You will be focused on projects supporting Sales, Sales Operations and Finance with opportunity to be involved in other interrelated and dependent projects including Commissions, Revenue, Marketing, Alliances, Services and IT. This role will provide exceptional customer service to business partners in the Sales Operations area by delivering technical solutions, business process change and ongoing stabilization support to realize business value and objectives. As project manager, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership and judgment. You will define project scope, objectives and requirements and will own the project plan, schedule, budget, resource management, issues and risks. This role may involve managing multiple projects concurrently with moderate to high levels of business or technical complexity or risk. You will be accountable to ensure project commitments and deliverables are met. You will interact daily with IT development, QA, business systems analysts, operational support, cross-functional business leads and process owners to ensure the smooth delivery of the deliverables. You will be required to regularly prepare and present to executive sponsors for project status and to drive decisions. The ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects is required. Work is reviewed and measured based on attainment of objectives and overall success of projects. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Project planning, scheduling, team building, meeting/presentation facilitation and preparation, issue, risk and cost control management across multiple projects. Manage delivery of complex projects for one or more business functions. Manage delivery/communications to business expectations and ensure client satisfaction, delivery to schedule, and delivery to budget. Provide global and cross-functional leadership to virtual project teams. Work closely with analysts, development teams, quality assurance, and other teams to define the comprehensive project plan. Required Skills/Experience: * Bachelors Degree, with 6-8 years project management and information systems software development lifecycle experience * Experience in implementing Quote-to-Cash or related systems. * Knowledge of business applications, with a focus on Quotes, Product Configurator, Order Management, Contract Management, Billing and Cash/Collections. * Saleforce.com, Oracle Financials, and other ERP experience, a plus. * Expert project management skills, especially communication skills, project planning, risk management, and capacity planning. * Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment * Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner. * Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams * Excellent influencing and negotiation skills * Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment * Has demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience working with large, complex projects Desired Skills: * Has professional project management credentials (such as PMP) * Has experience with Agile methodologies and principles. * Has demonstrated advanced negotiation and presentation skills. * Experience with on-demand SaaS applications, web services APIs and various integration technologies is a plus. * Background in business process analysis, requirements, design, quality and testing.
