Location: US-CA-San Francisco Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Description: Salesforce.com is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineer Training and Development to perform the following duties: This position prepares, develops, reviews, conducts, and drives a diverse training program for Salesforce.com’s Sales Engineers. Primary duties will be creation, preparation and presentation of training and qualification materials to SEs in areas such as product and services, technology and processes and procedures. Additional responsibilities include repeatable/monthly on-boarding training for new SEs, continuing training for all current SEs, and situational training on an as-needed basis in support of the SE department mission. Responsibilities: The position requires an ability to qualify as a classroom instructor. Primary duties are to prepare training curriculum (programs) and training presentations from needs analysis; schedule training events on short and long range training plans, and keep the plans up-to-date; initiate and follow training improvements in facilities, training aids, and adult training methods; maintain documentation of training conducted using the SFDC application; and, other duties as assigned by the Director of Field Sales Effectiveness.Required Skills/Experience: Education/Experience Requirements: BS or BA degree from an accredited college/university Excellent communication and presentation skills to teach a wide variety of topics. Experience with audio/video equipment and presentation software a plus. Must be able to use the SFDC application to track and measure training program results, schedules, and individual training records. Project/program management experience a plus.
