Salesforce.com is looking for a passionate, motivated and technical Senior Quality Engineer to help implement test frameworks, code and quality metrics, write automated tests, and ensure our Mobile offering is high quality. You will work with other team members to raise issues with feature design, determine proper testing needs for ongoing releases, write and automate detailed test cases to cover your area thoroughly and to ensure bugs are identified early. A successful candidate will help us design the right tests, increase automation coverage, and raise the quality bar of our deliverables to a new level. Do you have the ability to think about all the factors that may affect a proposed solution, take into account the variables and come-up with an efficient way to get things done? You should like to break things, be exhilarated when you discover that really complicated bug, and be detail-oriented enough that you've actually had people comment on it. You also have to be comfortable with initial manual testing of new features, so you have the understanding to correctly architect and implement the automation afterwards. Having a passion for quality and a proactive stance in problem solving is required. Responsibilities: * Develop expertise in the features/product areas and use that expertise to advocate on behalf of the customer. * Write automated unit and functional tests for against our Blackberry and Windows Mobile/Smartphone offerings. * Create, review, automate, and execute high quality test plans (unit and end-to-end) * You will need to identify missing test cases and refine existing scripts for modularity and automation purposes, estimate and prioritize work for optimal risk mitigation and identify suitable regression suites. Required Skills/Experience: * Must have programming skills in C# or Java. * Experience with unit test harnesses such as JUnit/NUnit desired. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as exemplified by clear bug/issue explanations, documentation of knowledge, and effective intra- and inter-group communications. * Know and care about what the customer wants -- and willing to stand up for it! * A BS in CS or EE or higher is preferred.
