The technical Instructor brings expertise and knowledge in delivering salesforce.com technical training to technical customers and partners.. Will be responsible for delivering classes on the Force.com platform and other courses related to the developer and/or IT roles. The technical instructor will be part of an emerging technology education group geared to developing and delivering training on new salesforce.com technologies. Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance to students in a classroom environment on all aspects of using the Force.com platform to build and customize business applications Provide expert guidance to students in a classroom environment on technologies such as Java, .Net, Web Services, XML, HTML, Javascript, and ASP.NET/JSP Participate/suggest revenue-generating curriculum for the developer role; Act as a reviewer for courses under development; Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success Evangelize the Force.com PlatformRequired Skills/Experience: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience Customer-focused attitude; committed to customer success Strong presentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 30 weeks) Understanding of the On-Demand software-as-a-service model 2 years of hands-on technical training, software development, or technical consulting experience with external client projects Knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems such as CRM, SFA, or ERP Deep knowledge of Java, .NET, Web Services, XML, HTML, Javascript, and ASP.NET/JSP Work experience with a professional consulting organization or software company is a plus Ability to learn quickly and think creatively Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.Employees at salesforce.com consider their experience as defining points in their careers.
