Forte Engineering in La Salle, IL has an immediate opening for an experienced software developer. We develop customer-specific solutions for order fullfillment and distribution center operations, then install and train our clients' operations team at our clients' sites. We offer a casual work environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Skills/Qualifications:

* Application development using Visual Studio, C++, MFC, COM/ATL/ DCOM, VB

* Develop multi-threaded applications to real-time constraints

* Develop applications utilizing SQL commands, utilizing stored procedures and triggers

* Familiarity with Crystal Reports and/or Installshield would be a plus

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years experience in sofware programming, or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision

* Good written and oral communications skills including the ability to explain applications to clients' operations staff
