Win32/C++ Software Engineer

 

Rether Networks Inc. is a small company poised for explosive growth. We are looking for new talents to join our cyber security development team located in Stony Brook, New York. This is a great opportunity for gaining hands-on experience in win32 kernel level development.

 

Job Description:

 

The ideal candidate will maintain, debug and develop new features for the existing software in the win32 SDK/API as well as device driver level. Excellent debug skill and independent problem-solving capability is required for this position. This is a great opportunity in a business casual environment

 

Required Skills:

 

·  BSCS or related fields with 4 years C++ coding experience or MSCS with 2 year C++  coding experience in windows environment.

·  Strong System Programming skills (Service Development, TCP/IP socket programming, Multithreading, Client Server architecture)

·  Strong debugging skills as well as problem-solving capability

·  Basic experience with win32 API or win32 device driver

·  Must be a self-starter and work under pressure with minimum supervision

·  Very strong communication skills, both written and oral

 

Desired Skills:

 

·  Familiar with WIN32 API, device driver, COM object, or C# is preferred

·  Experience working on complicated designs, highly optimized code, and commercial-grade software projects

·  Prior experience with kernel or device driver

·  Exposure to all phases of the software development process
