For more than 65 years, Tucker Mechanical has designed and delivered comprehensive HVAC solutions to businesses seeking to enhance their productivity and efficiency.  Job Title: Accounting/Office ManagerJob Summary: Rewarding position as an Accounting/Manager/Office Manager for a satellite office of a stable specialty contractor.  We offer a small professional office environment, with the stability of a Fortune 500 corporation, great benefits and a great working atmosphere.  Reporting to the CFO, this position will oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, along with supervising the administrative office staff.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure that all accounting activities and functions are accurately performed within set time frames- Balance ledgers and sub-ledgers to trial balance- Perform all necessary reconciliations- Manager 3-4 administrative staff and their related activities- Maintain work flow of all administrative functions - Review process, first 3 months then annually



 



Qualifications: 

- 5-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience

- Construction experience a must, with specific experience in job costing, AIA

billing and over and under billing adjustments

- Knowledge of Timberline accounting platform preferred

- Assistant controllership/controllership experience preferred

- Accounting Degree BA/BS preferred, or commensurate experience

- Must be a problem solver, that can work independently

- Strong analystical, organizational, planning and communication skills
