General Description:
The Application Support Analyst’s role is to deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers, such as operations, accounting, and other business units. The Application Support Analyst is also responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications training programs and related courseware. This position will also include gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT systems.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop expertise in the area of our ERP applicationsProvide troubleshooting and resolution to user problems resulting from our ERP applicationsDevelop strategies to educate end users to take advantage of application opportunities to streamline or enhance the business operations (continuous process improvement)Assist with analytical activities to resolve issues with internal systemsDefine requirements and functional specifications for system and business enhancements Participates in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications softwareParticipates in the development of training materials and assists in conducting training and workshopsProvides on-call support and problem resolution for computer applications in multi-user computer and communications environments

Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Minimum Job Qualifications: College coursework in relevant field or may substitute work experience3 years or more in the field of Business Consulting, Business Analysis and Reporting, or Systems AnalysisExperience with managing medium scale projects from start to finishExperience working multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience participating in developing and implementing a business application such as an accounting package requiredWorking knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, or other office products
Preferred:Crystal Report Writing ExperienceKnowledge of computer, data analysis, and programming technologies, concepts, and techniquesKnowledge of database concepts and structures
