Performs field take offs from design and other construction drawings and tracks material quantities for field activities. Assists with the preparation of field design changes and maintains updated record drawings for configuration control. Assists with the preparation of project closeout documentation and establishes and maintains necessary supporting records and files Keeps superiors and project team informed on the status of engineering progress, requirements, problems, changes, additions and omissions to the work scope and similar matters. Monitors work progress for situations which are potential “changed conditions” from the contract scope of work. Alerts project team of any such conditions which potentially are a “changed condition”. Basic Requirements: Work is construction oriented involving potentially strenuous conditions. Long days performing work out in the elements can be expected, including winter weather.
