Our continued success and growth has produced a need for an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector position in our Tampa FL location. Job Description:Duties include, but are not limited to: with minimal supervision perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of Simplex life safety product line, as well as, similar competitive manufacturers’ product line inspections; work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment; availability to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer requirements; operating company vehicle; perform other duties as directed and deemed necessary. Qualifications:• Two years experience in low voltage electrical systems• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications • Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment• Hand tool and multi-meter usage experience• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions• Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds• Must possess hand tools• Must have valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.
