Estimator Responsible for analyzing blue prints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects or services. Search out new bidding opportunities through multiple sources. Visit job sites, procure bid bonds, bid documents and provide detailed take offs. Solicit subcontractors and vendors for quotes on bids. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists. Thoroughly understands government RFPs and RFQs for preparation of proposals.
2-7 years experience in estimating residential and commercial projects in the $100k to $4 million range. You have to be someone who completely understands the trades both plumbing and/or HVAC and the planning involved with both, with the ability to do the quantity take offs of both. You must have good communication skills (verbal and written) to be able to negotiate and work with suppliers, sub-contractors and general contractors.
Project Manager will work in conjunction with the project foreman and labor superintendent to ensure that the critical path method (CPM) is followed correctly and efficiently for each project. Work with estimating department to obtain full scope of work, review in detail all shop drawings, plans and specifications. Secure all bonds and insurance certificate required for a project. Work in conjunction with department managers in all the buy outs and execute written purchase orders on buy outs. The Project Manager is responsible to review all plans and specifications with the job foreman and issuing the job foreman with all plans, specifications, coordination, drawings, bulletins, addenda’s, shop drawings, plan revisions, purchase and delivery schedule, cost codes, approved submittals and subcontractors. Obtain and secure all proper permits and notify job foreman of compliance requirements. Visit job sites as often as possible, attend job meetings and monitor the schedule.
We are looking for an experienced project manager with HVAC, mechanical and plumbing. Someone who completely understands the trades, both plumbing and HVAC and the planning involved with both. Candidate must have good communication skills, verbal and written.
HVAC Engineer Would be responsible for project design, planning and management in order to complete quality work for their clients. Coordination of staff assignments for best utilization of technical staff and ensuring the quality of work would be part of this position. Candidates must be highly motivated, possess strong technical background and be familiar with a variety of different systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing construction documents and project management.
Someone with a solid understanding of building engineering design, a minimum of five years of design and management experience in the architectural or engineering industry, along with relevant building design experience is preferred. You should be familiar with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
Fire Protection Designer I am looking for a Fire Protection Designer to join a growing Fire Protection Division. The right candidate will be responsible for creating complete sets of engineering/shop drawings for approval by engineers and installation drawings for use in the field. This position requires a good working knowledge of sprinkler systems and construction, and experience in AutoCad.
This fire protection designer handles projects from shop drawings and coordination through recording drawings and close-out, assists the project managers throughout the process, and assures that sprinkler systems meet codes and multiple insurance requirements.
MEP Coordinator This individual will work with Senior and Project level Managers, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineers, owners and subcontractors.
Company is involved in high profile projects and is seeking a Mechanical/ Electrical/ Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator whose primary function is to provide technical support to PM, PE, Superintendents and Owner/Clients. Technical support includes pricing and estimating project specifications with involvement in the entire pre-construction and construction process.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience and a stable work history. Project experience of at least $7 million is a plus. Must have thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing fire protection and electrical or some combination of these disciplines. Candidate must be a team player and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidate should be familiar with CAD
