Capital Equipment Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

My client a global manufacturer is actively seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee effective timely capital improvement projects. 

This position will develop project scopes, manage external and internal design engineering resources, secure funding, plan and see through to completion multiple plant engineering projects.

The Sr. Project Engineer will interact with co-workers, clients and management to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications for project teams. Utilizes theoretical & practical engineering skills to assist with project planning and other activities leading to the detail design of the project.

Requirements

·        BS or advanced degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, preferred. PE license a plus and/or PMP/PMI certification.

 

·        Specialized industry related experience includes a minimum of 5 or more years capital project management experience preferably supporting Plastics, Polymers, or Chemical facilities capital engineering & design projects.

 

·        Strong Vendor/Contractor management experience

 

·        Working knowledge of PET blow molding platforms

 

·        Experience and/or training in tools such as FMEA, QFD, FEA, Design of Experiment, Mold Flow

 

·        Strong computer skills

 

·        Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

 

·        This position must be open to some travel as our client has facilities nationwide.
