About the Company
The company was founded in 1986 with the current year sales projected at $30,000,000. Our goal is to double that figure within four years.

Our work consists mainly of commercial, institutional and multi-family projects located throughout Florida. We do a small amount of design/build work presently but this should increase significantly over the next several years.

We have approximately 300 employees which include a solid group of superintendents and foremen. Our office staff is very competent and loyal with a low turnover rate.

We have a positive work enviornment and a reputation for treating our employees well. Our success to date is attributable to the hard work and dedication of the many fine people whom we employ. Our future success will depend on our ability to hire and retain more of those quality individuals.

Help Owen Electric Company be a leader in the Construction industry by acting as the Estimator who prepares cost estimates; prepares work to be estimated; identifies labor, material, and time requirements; computes costs; resolves discrepancies; presents prepared estimate; prepares special reports; maintains cost data base; maintains technical knowledge.

Qualifications


Knowledge of McCormick estimating sofware helpful. Two or more years experience performing commercial or industrial material take-offs is perferred though not required. We will consider a trainee canadate.

We are looking for a team player who is able to get along well with others.

Pays attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner.
