While some re-location assistance is available for this position, local candidates are preferred.  Duties: Manage, coordinate guide, and oversee Estimating activity to insure the accurate preparation and submission of competitive and profitable proposals. Formulate bidding strategy for all major projects together with the Manager of Estimating Services. Review estimates, scope, and pricing, and assembly of proposals prior to submission. Maintain current subcontractor and vendor source information for support unit use. Monitor all contract purchasing by Estimating to ensure placement of orders within planned buying goals. Recommend and initiate suitable training and education for personnel. Occasional Travel: position based out of Chicago South Suburb, willing to pay relocation to Chicago Area.
