About the Opportunity
Transmission Design Engineers apply engineering skills to solve practical problems, analyze data, write technical reports, apply good mechanical aptitude, analyze moderately complex technical problems and exercise good decision making. Performs engineering on moderately complex transmission projects including analysis and design of transmission structures. Orders all material/equipment required for transmission facilities. Monitors field progress on transmission projects as needed. Performs technical engineering work as assigned.

 

Qualifications


Must be a self-starter. Must have personal computer skills that include Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes)

Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.

Five to seven years of engineering related experience.

Bachelors Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
