Civil Engineering Positions (4) - Santa Clara Office

Lim & Nascimento Engineering Corporation is a California Engineering firm with its professional practice exclusively in the planning, design, and construction management of highways, freeways, roadways, interchanges, highway bridges, railroad bridges, railroad grade separations, a wide variety of water crossings, and, at times, one-of-a-kind transportation facilities. 

 

We currently have four available positions in our Santa Clara office, Entry Level Engineer, Associate Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager.  Candidates will be responsible for the design and management of projects, monitoring and adhering to budgets and schedules, performing QC reviews on projects, and leading technical staff in the development of projects.  Freeway, bridge, and interchange design and/or Caltrans Project Management experience preferred.  The candidates should be comfortable in working with team members involved in all modes of transportation.

 

Qualifications/Experience/Educational Requirements:

 

Entry Level Engineer:

· Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field

Associate Engineer:

· Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

· At least with two years experience

· Minimum E.I.T preferred

· Signing Bonus may be available

Project Engineer:

· Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

· Registered P.E. in California is a must

· Min 5-10 years total experience, 4+ years of multi-project management

· Signing bonus available based on qualification

Project Manager:

· Registered P.E. in California is a must

· Min 8+ years total experience, 4+ years of multi-project management

· Prior experience in managing Caltrans Projects is required

· Excellent winning proposal-writing and presentation skills

· Ability to source new clients as well as build larger relationships with existing clients

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

· Strong leadership abilities and effective written and oral communication skills

· Assessing risk, identifying solutions on how to mitigate and managing high risk areas of project development
