Who we are: Fluor is one of the world’s largest, publicly owned engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance services organizations.  We are a service organization and our success depends upon the combined capabilities and contributions of all employees.  Fluor has excellent employment opportunities for Pipefitters.  COMBO PIPE WELDER JOB DESCRIPTION:  Must be able to weld several types of pipe depending on the work awarded.  Assist pipefitter with lay out, positioning, aligning, and fitting components together.  Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.  Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.  May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.  May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using cutting torch, straightening press, and handtools. Must be able to tig on stainless and carbon.
