Construction Coordinator

The Westchester branch of ThyssenKrupp Elevator, located in Elmsford, NY, is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator. In this demanding but rewarding position, you will be required to perform the following tasks:  Set up job files; track project hours by utilizing weekly reports; track weekly/monthly mandatory safety reports; set up new elevator installation inspection turnovers with follow through of close out documentation; submit warranty claims and assuring all RGR material is returned; parts-ordering for office and field personnel; processing field payroll; filing for elevator permits with follow-up of closeouts; archiving job files upon completion; and general clerical support as requested.



HS diploma or GED is required and a college degree is preferred. At least two (2) years of office/administrative experience is necessary.  Must have good communication skills for interaction with internal & external customers/vendors.  This position requires excellent relationship building, problem solving, customer service and organizational skills.  Must be able to multi-task and succeed in a high pressure environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word is necessary. Previous elevator or construction industry experience is a plus although training will be provided.
